I want to play with my cousin on modern warfare 2 and i dont know if i should get a Xbox 360 or a Ps3?

My mom lets my Little brothers, 6 and 8 years old. Play Call of Duty 4 and occasionally Grand Theft Auto. They are obviously not old enough to play those games. And I doubt killing people helps a 5 year olds OCD.
